I guess you might say that this is a safe image, artistcally speaking, what with the Lord in the sky looking over His church. But what I'm getting at is that his church is made up of people and not buildings. The scripture that says "upon this rock I will build my church" refers to the (solid foundation) of revelation that Peter had when he answered the Lord's question of "whom do you say that I am"? He said,"thou are the Christ, the son of the living God." That's our solid foundation of faith with which the Lord will build his church.
